Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand/walk up to 90% of the workday; sit to perform normal office duties for up to 50% of the workday, occasional bending, squatting, ascending ladders/stairways.

Typical Functions:

• Inspect incoming materials by performing visual inspections of materials, components, and products received from suppliers and vendors.
• Verify accompanying documentation such as packing slips.
• Count all materials to verify that the number of each product delivered matches the documentation.
• Identify deliveries with non-conformities between packing slips and items delivered.
• Communicate supplier issues to relevant departments to facilitate timely decision-making and corrective actions.
• Mark all materials with stickers and color coding for easy identification and to avoid further labeling.
• Release color-coded and labeled materials to the Warehouse after inspection.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance receiving inspection processes and contribute to quality improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
