Job Title:
Inspection Advisor II
Role: QA Inspector – Permian BU
Location:
Midland, TX
Schedule:
5/2, 50 hours per week

- Safety & Oversight:
Promote safety within the area of specialty - Monitor contractor activities to ensure construction and fabrication meet applicable specifications
- Provide expert guidance to Construction/Maintenance Supervisors and Foremen in inspection and testing for disciplines such as:
Welding Coating Civil works Piping Pressure vessel and tank fabrication Equipment installation Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Quality Assurance & Support - Assist contractors and suppliers in improving quality control and inspection processes, including Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs)
- Review and evaluate contractor and supplier quality documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Participate in Mechanical Completion walkdowns, Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR), Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs), Final inspection release activities
- Support punch list closure and inspection validation
- Develop and deliver:
Inspection reports, Quality incident reports, Nonconformance reports (NCRs) - Maintain contractor quality records and ensure proper documentation delivery
- Keep quality and functional supervision informed of significant issues and status updates
- Identify potential quality issues early and recommend corrective and preventive actions
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Quality and/or Inspection in major oil & gas projects
- AWS Certified Welding Inspector (current or previous)
- Strong ability to work under pressure with professionalism
- Willingness to travel to field and shop locations
- Coating Inspector certification (ACCP/NACE)
- Certifications in NDT methods (RT, UT, PT, MT)
