Responsibilities- Conduct Receiving Inspections (RX) of materials received
- Unload trucks and verify shipments using Purchase Order (PO) and barcode system
- Inspect parts, verify part numbers, serial numbers, and check for damage or defects
- Document findings in inspection records, logs, and rejection reports
- Communicate concerns with suppliers and vendors in writing and verbally
- Coordinate with quality engineers and establish professional rapport with customers and vendors
- Use computer programs such as SAP, Microsoft Outlook, and other Pratt & Whitney network applications
- Obtain RX inspection stamp within 3 months of role commencement
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred
- Basic knowledge of inspection methods and visual inspection techniques
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, reading, and writing skills
- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and oral, and to work in a team environment
- Basic math skills and knowledge of vision and color perception requirements
- Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds
- Commitment to supporting business functions such as EH&S, HR, CORE, ITC, and Quality
