Quality Inspector

Job Description Provide detailed in-process inspections of electrical and mechanical assemblies, using technical drawings, CAD models, and established processes to verify conformance to design requirements. Perform detailed product inspections on finished goods, including but not limited to First Article Inspections and certified supplier document reviews. Document production nonconformance in accordance with provided procedures and processes, verifying compliance to applicable standards. Establish professionalism and timelines in the performance of daily activities.

Communicate effectively to personnel any quality issues needing resolutions. Work on multiple assignments concurrently while maintaining flexibility to the production schedule. Monitor the use of calibrated measuring instruments.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed in-process inspections of electrical and mechanical assemblies.
  • Perform product inspections on finished goods, including First Article Inspections.
  • Document production nonconformance according to procedures and standards.
  • Communicate quality issues effectively to personnel.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Sound knowledge of manufacturing and production standards in the aerospace industry.
  • Experience performing detailed product inspections using blueprints/specifications and precision measuring equipment.
  • Associate degree in a technical or engineering field.
  • 3+ years of inspection experience in aerospace, aviation, military, or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with electrical systems, including testing and inspection using portable measuring devices.
  • Able to work in the US or Permanent Resident Card Holder.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $35.00/hr.
