Role Description

This is an on-site contract role for a Landman located in Midland/Odessa, TX. The Landman will be responsible for title research, preparing and reviewing land-related legal documents, conducting due diligence for acquisitions, negotiating leases, and analyzing property ownership. The role requires frequent collaboration with clients and stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely documentation and reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in title research, cursory lease checks, and due diligence processes
• Understanding of land-related legal documents, such as leases, deeds, and title opinions
• Negotiation and communication skills for engaging with landowners and stakeholders
• Proficiency in investigative techniques and ability to analyze property ownership
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple projects efficiently
• Ability to work on-site in Midland/Odessa, TX and meet project deadlines
• Familiarity with energy industry practices and regulations is an advantage
