Production Regulatory Accountant

Salary: $75,000 - $95,000 per year.

An oil & gas company seeks Production Regulatory Accountant to join their team.

• Manage and reconcile daily and monthly production volumes (oil, gas, water, NGLs) at the well, lease, and tank battery level.
• Set up new wells, facilities, and equipment configurations in Quorum ODP.
• Collect, enter, and validate daily production data including run tickets, gas sales, and water production.
• Identify and resolve variances between production data and purchaser statements.
• Prepare and file monthly reports with the Texas Railroad Commission (RRC) and New Mexico Oil Conservation Division (NMOCD).
• Submit drilling permits, well completions, saltwater disposal, and commingling applications.
• Record revenue receipts and match cash collections to validated production volumes.
• Track timing differences between field production months and cash receipt months.
• Analyze Lease Operating Expenses (LOE) and support month‑end close.

• 2–5 years of upstream oil and gas experience in production accounting or regulatory affairs.
• Quorum ODP and/or ODA experience strongly preferred.
• Solid understanding of RRC and NMOCD filing requirements.
