Location andRole Overview
ChampionX has an immediate need for a District Representative located in Midland, TX. This sales professional will oversee client relationships and commercial activities related to midstream, gas treating, and gas processing. The role focuses on revenue and profit growth of ChampionX programs and services within the Oil and Gas industries, employing a consultative sales approach, strong account leadership, and retention of strategic accounts.
The representative will build long-term customer relationships by understanding key business drivers, executing system assurance programs, and selling new technologies.

- Act as the primary contact for clients involved in refined product sales, transportation, and logistics.
- Collaborate with supply chain, logistics, and operations teams to ensure timely and accurate product delivery.
- Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships to support retention and expansion.
- Prepare and present performance reports, forecasts, and proposals to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Resolve service issues and coordinate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Support business development initiatives and contribute to strategic planning.
- Work week and shift: up to 10% overnight travel required to support sales territory.
- Ability to travel within assigned sales territory.
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in water utility treatment or related field.
- Strong understanding of product specifications, blending, and logistics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and data analysis tools.
- Ability to travel to client sites and operational facilities as needed.
- Familiarity with logistics and inventory management systems.
- 1‑2 years of successful technical sales or field sales support experience.
- 1‑2 years of experience directly related to well service stimulation business.
- Experience in the oil and gas industry.
- High computer application literacy (including Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn internal business systems).
- History of working in a field that required autonomy and self‑motivation.
- Prior experience that required excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Prior experience that demonstrates strong ethics, effective time management, ability to multitask, adaptability, autonomy, and self‑motivation.
