Business Development Representative

The Business Development Representative is responsible for driving sales within a defined geographic region by offering products, services, and solutions aligned with customer needs. The role collaborates with technical sales support teams and internal stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions and strengthen customer partnerships.

Responsibilities
  • Drive sales of products, services, parts, solutions, and projects within an assigned geographic area.
  • Manage diverse client relationships across the assigned territory.
  • Apply technical knowledge to support products and systems, including limited customization within defined guidelines.
  • Collaborate with technical sales support teams to achieve sales targets and ensure successful execution.
  • Contribute to pricing frameworks, commercial terms, and customer‑specific negotiations.
  • Support sales efforts for opportunities with large estimated orders.
  • Coordinate multiple sales activities and initiatives to meet business objectives.
  • Support regional sales strategies with a focus on medium‑sized territories.
Qualifications
  • Have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in sales.
  • Have a minimum of 3 additional years of experience in sales.
  • Have strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Have strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to influence others and collaborate effectively.
  • Have the ability to lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact.
  • Have the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and manage priorities effectively.
  • Have strong problem‑solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
