Sales Support Representative – Ferguson
OverviewWe are seeking a hands‑on, customer‑focused Sales Support Representative to assist our sales associates, deliver personalized customer service, and help customers bring their projects to life. The role is based at one of our 1,700 locations and is scheduled Monday to Friday, 7:00‑4:00am or 8:00‑5:00am, with on‑call duties every other month. Pay starts at $19.65 per hour and may rise with experience and local wage rates.
Responsibilities- Partner with sales associates to identify the best products and solutions for customers.
- Provide timely quotations and accurate sales orders to ensure personalized customer service.
- Coordinate product deliveries on behalf of customers.
- Answer sales calls for general information, addressing and resolving customer concerns or questions.
- Use the customer‑relationship management (CRM) system and phone system effectively.
- 3–5years of local industrial sales and/or customer service experience (preferred).
- Industrial Oil & Gas knowledge is a plus.
- Experience with Salesforce and Trilogie is a plus.
- Strong sales skills, including an ability to upsell.
- Proven track record of responding quickly to customer needs and making timely decisions.
- Comfortable in a fast‑paced environment and able to follow through on commitments.
- Highly motivated, customer‑service oriented, and capable of building relationships (bonus).
- General digital literacy, including Microsoft Office.
- Quick learner of product knowledge and processes.
- Hourly wage: $19.65–$31.41 (established ranges may be higher based on local or state wage requirements).
