As a Security Officer - Reception Desk Driver in MIDLAND, NC
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced manufacturing and industrial location as a Front Desk Officer. Welcome employees and visitors, support access control and badge processes, monitor cameras and alarms, manage calls and visitor logs, and communicate concerns with integrity to help address security-related incidents.

What You'll Do
  • Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific procedures and Allied Universal policies, including answering phones, greeting visitors, and directing employees, contractors, and guests.
  • Control access to the location by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, managing sign-in and/or sign-out logs, and coordinating with site contacts for approvals.
  • Monitor and document front desk activity, including incoming deliveries, key and/or badge accountability as assigned, and security-related notifications, using required logs and reporting tools.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site management, emergency services, and/or Allied Universal supervision as needed.
  • Prepare accurate written reports on security-related events, visitor activity, and policy exceptions, and communicate observations to the appropriate personnel.
Minimum Requirements
  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Customer Service Experience is preferred.
  • CPR Certification is preferred.
  • Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
  • Alarm Panel Experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
