, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post includes armed responsibilities and offers the chance to support people first through teamwork, integrity, and a reliable presence across assigned areas.

Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Day Time Tue 12:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Wed 12:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Thur 12:00 PM - 11:30 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, entrances, loading areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior, assist with access control and/or loss prevention concerns, and report hazards, maintenance issues, and other unusual conditions observed during patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A minimum of 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience, or a minimum of 5 years of armed security‑related experience, is required.
• A Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
