We boast one of the largest inventories of modern lifting equipment in North America, with more than 1,000 units. Due to increased demand, we are seeking a CDL Crane Operator at our Midland Yard.

The crane operator is required to safely operate cranes efficiently and maintain a standard of accuracy that aligns with company procedures and customer requirements.

• Efficiently and safely operate a variety of specialized machinery in accordance with established procedures and guidelines, ensuring correct selection and setup regarding crane, lift, or hoist.
• Inspect and assess ground conditions as well as any potential overhead obstructions.
• Maintain equipment through daily inspections, including routine maintenance and minor repairs.
• Maintain logs and records of operational activities.
• Maintain visual and radio communications with ground operators according to best practices and site safety regulations; respond to questions and instructions clearly and quickly.
• Performs other duties and tasks as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years experience working with rough terrain cranes, carry decks, crawlers, and mobile cranes
• Class A CDL
• Successfully pass post offer drug and physical screens and have a background that meets company requirements
• Dependable and reliable with flexibility to work overtime, when necessary
• Maintain a current NCCCO Crane Operators License for qualified equipment
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings, materials, or instructions
• Good verbal and written communication skills to understand instructions, applicable safety regulations, and to maintain records
• Must have a strong ability to work well within a team environment

• Strong depth perception and quick reaction time
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 100 lbs. occasionally and 50 lbs. regularly
• Visual capabilities to follow hand signals, maintain all logs, and operate machinery
• Ability to sit for long periods
• Ability to work in a variety of weather, including extreme heat and cold
