Instrument & Electrical Technicians – On-Call with Compressor Expertise – Midland, TX
Kodiak Gas Services is hiring a highly skilled Instrument & Electrical Technician to handle maintenance and troubleshooting for gas compressors in oilfield environments. This is a senior-level field role with on-call rotations, requiring deep expertise in electrical systems, instrumentation, and gas engine packages. Ideal candidates will bring certifications, strong safety awareness, and compressor diagnostics experience. This position offers stability and responsibility in a mission-critical field support role.

- 3+ years in similar role (preferred: 5+ years in oilfield compression)
- OEM, CAT, Waukesha, or Ariel certifications preferred
- Deep understanding of NEC and modern gas compression systems
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and operate in confined, high-noise, outdoor spaces
- Valid driver’s license and clean MVR
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- OEM/Trade school education
- Extensive compressor overhaul experience
- Strong knowledge of motor controls and control systems
- Completion of Kodiak SSE program
- Certification in Ariel, Waukesha, or CAT systems
