• Job Shift: Day/Night
• Maintain and repair facility environment related to plumbing fixtures, electrical services, carpentry, painting, ceilings, etc.

• 2-5 years of previous experience in a commercial setting (hospital setting preferred)
• Thorough knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems, painting, etc.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• EPA certification

• Maintain all fire protection systems: fire extinguishers, fire alarms, fire sprinklers, fire dampers, etc.
• Perform preventative maintenance on building plumbing, electrical, communications systems, etc.
• Maintain the physical appearance of buildings: doors, windows, walls, floors, ceilings, painting, etc.
• Carry out all components of a building and other related duties.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times.
• Assist other Maintenance Technicians as needed.
• Use good telephone courtesy (identify the department and your name).
• Assist with moving furniture, boxes, and heavy objects.
• Adhere to Signature Care Policies and Procedures.
• Participate in monthly department meetings.
• Maintain and take inventory of supplies and stock as needed.
• Respond to fire and disaster codes.
• Ensure facility environmental finishes are maintained.
• Maintain the painted finish of walls, doors, frames, etc. throughout the facility.
• May be required to work holidays and weekends as needed.

• Interact with all departments.
• Work with vendors and learn from their knowledge.
• Limit outside resources, maintain good preventive maintenance and repair techniques.
