Overview
The Electrician is responsible for general electrical maintenance of the operation fleet, equipment, and fixtures. Complete understanding of AC and DC circuits, electrical schematics, pressure switches and PLC systems.
Duties- Installation, maintenance and repair of electrical equipment including components installed on oilfield and well control equipment.
- Perform work on specialized oilfield equipment.
- Perform repairs in the field on mobile equipment.
- Fulfill on-call responsibilities.
- Troubleshooting electrical circuits.
- Perform visual and functional inspection and associated checklists.
- Record jobs and inspections using work order system.
- Provide support and works closely with DWS Snubwell team.
- Other project as assigned by management.

- Education:
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent. - Experience:
2+ years of electrical work; generator, light plant repair and maintenance; knowledge of 12V and 24V systems; previous experience with I/III phase motors/components; knowledge of class 1 DIV 1 fixtures and components; knowledge of accumulator charging systems. Computer skills an asset. - Other Requirements:
Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
