Electrical Tech supports electricians and performing basic tasks under close supervision. The role is designed for those starting in the electrical field or transitioning from other industrial work.
Responsibilities- Assist with basic wiring, conduit installation, and light fixture repairs.
- Perform routine inspections of electrical panels and equipment.
- Learn to read and interpret simple wiring diagrams and schematics.
- Replace switches, fuses, light bulbs, and minor components.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Participate in safety meetings and training programs.
- Additional duties as assigned
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- 0-1 year of electrical or industrial maintenance experience.
- Basic knowledge of electrical safety practices.
- Willingness to pursue further training or certification (e.g., apprenticeship).
Math ability including fractions & elementary geometry.
