General Labor, Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Essential Duties
- Ensure the highest levels of efficiency and productivity while ensuring the safety of personnel and proper care of equipment
- Lubricate equipment as required
- Install and align equipment. This includes the installation of structural shapes, pumps, fans, and other mechanical and structural components
- Install and/or replace layflat, valves, and fittings
- Possess basic knowledge of centrifugal, peristaltic, air diaphragm and positive displacement pumps, couplings, mechanical seals, packing, and other components related to pumps
- Possess basic knowledge of the different types of valves and installation of valves
- Possess the basic skill needed to operate forklifts, man lifts and skid steer
- Possess a basic knowledge of rigging and lift techniques
- Attend safety meetings
- Attend safety training sessions at pad site
- Operate truck and trailer to transfer material around the pad site as directed
- Connect suction and discharge hoses to load and unload the truck
- Check drive engine fluid levels and perform other safety checks prior to operation
- Complete daily product transfer installation
- Perform specific gravity analysis on product samples as required
- Perform general maintenance on pumps and layflat lines
- Perform fuel transfer operations to refuel the pumps as required
- Troubleshoot parts and equipment and repair or replace as needed
- Education:
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) - Experience:
3-5 years’ experience - Licenses/Certifications:
