Field Service Technician

$35/hr - $40/hr + Training + Autonomous Work + Overtime + Company Vehicle + Progression + 401(k) + Full Benefits + PTO

Are you a Field Service Technician with experience working on motor controls or industrial electrical equipment looking for a role offering varied field work, technical autonomy, and the opportunity to further develop your skills on complex industrial systems?

This company specializes in the design, installation, commissioning, and support of motor control systems, automation solutions, and variable frequency drive technologies across a range of industrial sectors. Due to continued growth, they are looking to expand their field service team with technically minded individuals who want to build long‑term careers.

In this role, you'll install, commission, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial motor control equipment including VFDs, soft starters, switch gear, MCCs, and custom control systems. You'll work directly with customers in the field while serving as a technical expert for service, diagnostics, and commissioning activities.

This role would suit someone with industrial electrical, automation, motor controls, or VFD experience who enjoys hands‑on technical work, solving complex problems, and developing specialist expertise within a growing company.

Responsibilities
  • Install, commission, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain VFDs and motor control equipment
  • Provide technical support, diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and commissioning services
  • Work directly with customers on‑site while supporting custom control system solutions
Qualifications
  • Experience with VFDs, motor controls, drives, starters, or industrial electrical equipment
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills using electrical test equipment
  • Looking for technical development, varied field work, and long‑term progression opportunities
