Technician, General Facilities Maintenance - Up to $5000 sign on bonus

Walmart is hiring General Maintenance Technicians. You will diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance duties for all commercial equipment to support our Walmart stores. Responsibilities include developing preventative maintenance schedules, completing assigned PMs, and providing training for Store Associates on care and cleaning of equipment.

• Conduct minor repairs on facilities, equipment, or fixtures, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment, and food equipment.
• Complete routine maintenance to ensure safety and proper functionality.
• Manage work orders and maintenance schedules, submitting required written and electronic information such as expense vouchers, weekly summaries, work orders, and maintenance logs.

• Have prior experience in maintenance (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment, food equipment, or related trade).
• Understand the importance of customer service and communicate clearly, transparently, and respectfully.
• Drive personal accountability and use effective time management to meet commitments.
• Adapt to changing and competing demands, applying solid judgment to identify priorities.
• Believe in servant leadership and work collaboratively as a team to achieve goals.

• Three years' experience in maintenance.
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license with at least three years of clean driving record, capable of passing a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report.
• Eligibility for a Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
