Pump Solutions Field Service Technician - Level 1

Road Mechanic

This position involves performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing, and making advanced repairs on customer location equipment in the safest, most effective way possible to avoid downtime. The fleet primarily includes aerial work platforms, general construction tools and equipment, and may also consist of large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil/gas related equipment.

• Perform preventive maintenance and advanced repairs on customer equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and implement corrective actions.
• Work on a variety of makes and models in challenging remote locations.
• Maintain a safety-focused work environment.

• High school diploma or GED required; some trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 1-2 years of mechanic experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment, or specialty lines equipment; preferred for large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC or oil & gas equipment.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record; CDL license may be required in some locations and 21 years of age.
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting fundamentals.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals.
• Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Spanish or other bilingual skill may be required based on location needs.

Requires bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors or outdoors as necessary.

$23.52 - $32.34 per hour. Starting rate may vary based on position offered, location, education, training, and experience.
