Floor hands - Permian Basin - 14/14 - Midland, TX

Floor hands are needed for Patterson-UTI Drilling in the Permian Basin, based in Midland, Texas. This role involves physically demanding work on drilling rigs, supporting rig operations, and maintaining equipment. Candidates should be safety-focused, able to work in challenging outdoor conditions, and comfortable with rotational schedules. The ideal candidate is reliable, a team player, and able to handle the rigors of oilfield work.

• Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours without sitting
• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds independently
• Comfortable working at heights (50 ft. or greater)
• Ability to climb steep stairs, bend, stoop, kneel, twist, and crawl
• Clear communication skills in English (read, write, speak, understand instructions)
• Ability to work in confined areas and live in crew quarters
• Willingness to travel to and work in remote locations on a rotational schedule
• Willingness to work unscheduled hours as needed
• Ability to complete classroom training and testing for rig assignment
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing and background checks
• Six (6) months of stable work history

• One (1) year stable related work history (e.g., farming, ranching, construction, heavy equipment or other trade) or military service
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
