Forklift Operator

Responsibilities

• Assist rig down/up equipment in moving equipment around various locations
• Assist in attaching slings to equipment for moving
• Properly flag load and equipment
• Assist with pre/post trip inspections
• Help keep equipment clean and organized
• Must be able to safely package materials for shipment
• Follow the company’s and the client’s safety regulations
• Maintain and use appropriate PPE
• Participate in relevant training and safety processes
• Work with HSE to ensure all safety compliance regulations are being met pertaining to loads and cargo and are in compliance with industry and DOT standards
• Assist in maneuvering trucks safely (flagging and backing operations)
• Must be willing and able to communicate with personnel and customers
• Must be able to read and understand safety labels and postings
• Use proper and safe loading and unloading procedures
• Must successfully pass all Company and customer safety test requirements
• Must complete tasks in a timely manner
• Projects as assigned

• Required
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of oilfield related tools and equipment preferred.
• Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Must be punctual and reliable.
• Willingness to work in a team environment.
• Willingness to work overtime.

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education.

• Ability to climb ladders and stairs.
• Position requires long periods of standing and sitting and the ability to work long hours if necessary.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Work is performed outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Potential hazards include working near or with heavy tools and moving machinery and exposure to chemicals and noises.
