Oilfield Shop Mechanics - Midland, TX
Shop Mechanics at The Bergaila Companies play a vital role in maintaining and repairing essential oilfield drilling equipment in Midland, TX. This position offers the chance to work with a dynamic team, ensuring the safety and efficiency of critical machinery. Ideal candidates are experienced mechanics with a strong background in oilfield or drilling equipment maintenance and a commitment to safety and quality.

- Monday to Friday schedule (7:30 AM - 5 PM)
- 8+ years of experience in mechanical repairs, specifically with oilfield or drilling equipment
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to provide own transportation to Midland location
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work hands-on with hand tools
- Must obtain PEC Safeland Certification and ANSI Z390.1-2017 H2S training prior to starting
- PPE required: safety glasses, steel toe shoes, hard hat, H2S monitor, SCBA (if applicable), flotation device, fire extinguisher, and flame-resistant clothing
- Bilingual in English/Spanish
- ASE certification for light-duty truck repair
- Previous experience working with Apache or similar oilfield equipment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Extensive hands-on experience in oilfield equipment maintenance
