Facility Operator; Lamesa, TX​/Lake, TX​/Springs, TX​/Garden , TX

Position Summary

The Facility Operator is responsible for monitoring, inspecting, and ensuring safety and operational excellence of disposals within the assigned area of the Permian/Delaware Basins. Qualified candidates will be based on commuting distance proximal to Lamesa, TX;
Big Lake, TX;
Big Springs, TX; and Garden City, TX.

• Perform equipment maintenance and repairs including changing leaking fittings, valves, repairing hoses, etc.
• Use basic to intermediate level pumping skills: monitoring tank levels and pressures, tank thieving and gauging, troubleshooting equipment on location, including electrical, automation, and mechanical.
• Be on call from time to time or as scheduled by the Field Supervisor.
• Log documentation electronically as instructed.
• Monitor locations for leaks, hazards, etc.
• Complete JSA per shift/daily.
• Assist with the cleaning of tanks and containments when necessary.
• Operate location's automation system (SCADA).
• Treat customers respectfully and act in a cordial and professional manner at all times.
• Maintain safe and clean facilities through basic housekeeping duties and processes.
• Replace and clean filters.
• Check equipment to mitigate potential problems or safety issues and report to appropriate personnel for repair.
• Clean area debris, remove plants, pressure wash, etc.
• Complete and/or assist with monthly/annual inspection checklists for the required SPCC plan.
• Comply with all Company policies and procedures; adhere to safety and environmental guidelines.
• Submit own timesheets timely and accurately for approval and adhere to the schedule as agreed upon on the date of hire and thereafter based on company needs.
• Assist with other assigned duties and projects based on business needs.

• High School Diploma or comparable such as GED.
• Oil and gas industry experience.
• Familiarity with standard concepts and procedures as they relate to the role and industry.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be deemed insurable by the Company's insurance provider throughout employment to drive a Company vehicle.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Self‑motivated and strong time‑management skills.
• Ability to communicate respectfully and professionally across all levels of staff, customers, and vendors.
• Ability to be punctual and dependable; good attendance record.
• Ability to be on call as needed.

• 3 years required in the oil and gas industry.
• Experience overseeing contract workers.

• Must be able to use hands to handle, feel, reach, and perform fine manipulation.
• Must be able to talk and hear.
• Must be able to drive and sit for extended periods of time.
• Individual will be required to be on call at times to attend field emergencies as needed after hours.
• Must be able to stand, bend, walk, kneel, climb stairs, and lift over 50 lbs for continuous hours.
• Must be able to withstand extreme weather conditions, including hot, cold, wind, rain, hail, dust, snow, sleet, ice, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions.
• Frequently required to use personal protective equipment to prevent exposure to hazardous materials.
• May be exposed to H2S and other industry‑related chemicals.
• May be subject to working in low‑lit areas from time to time.
• May be exposed to loud noises, occupational hazards, and/or other outdoor elements.
• May encounter wildlife.
