Domino’s Delivery Driver Position DescriptionDomino’s Delivery Drivers provide excellent customer service while transporting orders safely and timely. Drivers assemble, load, transport and drop off items adhering to routes and road safety. They are polite, prompt, and committed to providing an impressive experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Arrive on time, in uniform, with a clean vehicle and full tank of gas.
- Wear a lit car top at all times during delivery.
- Assemble all items in order, ensure extras such as dipping cups and sodas are included.
- Route orders in Pulse within 1 minute of leaving the store.
- Hustle safely to and from store and vehicle to customer door.
- Transport hot items in heat bag or cold items in plastic T bag.
- Load items in a clean vehicle approved for delivery.
- Drive safely, obey traffic laws.
- No additional stops unless permission granted.
- Collect money, provide correct change, collect signatures.
- Keep track of cash and receipts, balance at end of shift.
- Use drop box to keep cash under $20; no money in vehicle.
- Listen to and resolve customer complaints.
- Keep driver area stocked, organized, and clean.
- Assist with box stocking and dining area cleanliness.
- Ensure heat bags are clean and free of rips.
- Sweep floor and mop regularly; mopping every night required.
- Wash dishes when no dishwasher is on shift.
- Help cook food or work in kitchen as backup if needed.
- Assist with phone, counter, or window orders occasionally.
- General store cleaning.
- Own reliable transportation that is clean.
- Read, understand, and follow a map.
- Pass Criminal Background check and Motor Vehicle Record check.
- Texas Certified Food Handlers Certificate required.
- Understand and work with numbers.
- Follow directions and achieve goals.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Follow schedule, be on time, wear proper uniform, work swiftly.
- Communicate effectively with a variety of clientele.
A high school diploma or equivalent is a plus but not required. 2 years driving experience and history required for age 18; 1 year for age 19+. Customer service experience helps but is not required.
Work EnvironmentDelivery Driver serves large volume of people and drives many miles. Standing and moving on feet for long periods. Frequent hand sanitization. Warm, bustling, potentially noisy environment. Trains, ovens, warming shelves, carts on wheels may lead to injury.
