Cable Inventory Specialist - Midland, TX

Job Description

Lead in managing and accounting for all inventory (Company Owned and Customer Owned) across multiple warehouses and field service locations.

Enter all cable paperwork and transact inventory usage for cable.

Regularly verify and count inventory as inaccuracies are reported or requested.

Lead in performing investigative duties to discover root cause for inventory errors and develop corrective action plans.

Manage inventory transfer process between facilities.

Manage inventory movement and supporting documentation.

Audit locations and perform cycle counting in warehouse and yard locations as well as customer owned cable.

Build relationships with multiple departments and meet their demands as they pertain to inventory.

Coordinate with Regional Inventory Manager to improve inventory reporting methodology.

Incorporate inventory controls to enhance inventory accuracy.

Institute best practices as they relate to inventory management.

Recognize and suggest improvements to eliminate inventory errors.

Lead, train, and support lower‑level specialists in processes and procedures.

Adjust work schedule and/or work overtime to accommodate both shifts and overtime as needed.

Other duties as assigned.

High School diploma or GED required.
