We are seeking an Assistant Inventory Coordinator to become an integral part of our team!

This position is located in MIDLAND, TEXAS.

JOB DESCRIPTION

To maintain a high level of inventory accuracy and integrity within the facility. Manage inventory on site and in Carlsbad New Mexico by overseeing physical inventory, cycle counts, receipts, adjustments, audits, and reconciliation.

SPECIFIC

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Monitoring and controlling inventory integrity
  • Maintaining product identification and location program
  • Researching inventory discrepancies and making necessary corrections
  • Managing the inventory control function at the site
  • Responsible for overseeing cycle counts/random or receipt audits/reconciliations
  • Resolving inventory problems in a timely manner
  • Documenting and controlling aged & damaged products
  • Ensuring all labeling requirements are met in a timely manner
  • Maintaining Inventory Accuracy Metrics and associated reports for management
  • Coordinate and Integrate efforts across operational departments to enhance inventory accuracy
  • Regularly training site staff in proper inventory control techniques and practice
  • Assist supervision/management as needed
  • Perform warehouse work as needed
  • Identify and record any issues relating to product, processes and/or quality
  • Initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through appropriate channels
  • Work with Managers on upcoming forecast and demand to keep inventory levels maintained
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
  • 4-year degree or equivalent experience
  • At least 4-5 years of inventory experience
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience with ERP systems
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs as a part of the job function
  • Must be able to pass a forklift certification test and drive a forklift daily if needed
