This part‑time position (Saturday–Sunday: 2 pm–9:30 pm, +$1.00/hr after 10 pm) involves transporting vital medical supplies and specimens. Med Speed is a healthcare logistics company that partners with organizations nationwide to ensure safe, reliable delivery.

What you will be doing as a Med Speed Medical Driver:

• Drive a company‑owned vehicle safely, transporting lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, x‑rays, hospital supplies, and related materials.
• Operate a hand‑held scanning device to track items accurately.
• Strictly observe operating policies, procedures, and service schedules.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public.
• Load and unload company vehicles with appropriate equipment.
• Demonstrate safe and courteous driving behavior.
• Conduct pre‑/post‑trip vehicle inspections and maintain a clean vehicle.
• Adapt to varying route duties and assignments as required.
• Demonstrate teamwork and adaptability with teammates and clients.
• Build and nurture a collaborative Med Speed team culture.

What you need to become a Med Speed Medical Driver:

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Minimum 19 years of age and an active driver’s license for 3 years.
• Demonstrated dependability and reliability.
• Comfort with technology.
• Follow procedures closely.
• Determine efficient routing between multiple points.
• Pass initial and random drug & alcohol screening.
• Drive a non‑commercial vehicle on various roads and in varying weather.
• Excellent driving history.
• Proof of COVID‑19 vaccination (depending on location).
• Regularly lift and carry items up to 50 lb.
• Handle varying item weights and physical demands.
• Lift items off storage racks.
• Walk long distances and stand for extended periods.
