Bookkeeping assistant / Weekend Call center assistant– The Storage Place - Midlothian

Compensation: $18-$20 per hour

Job Type: Part time

Schedule varies; facility hours: Monday - Friday | 9 AM–5 PM

Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain primary financial data for accounting records
  • Compute and record numerical data
  • Check the accuracy of business transactions
  • Perform data entry and administrative duties
  • Manage remote operations, including customer move-ins and move-outs, processing payments, tracking delinquencies, vendor coordination, and sales assistance
  • Utilize computers and software for data entry, email communication, and record-keeping
Qualifications
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Experience with Quick Books Online
  • Availability to work scheduled hours
  • Previous experience in accounting, finance, or other related fields
  • Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Initiative-driven mindset with a customer service focus
