DutiesPCI is seeking a Site Safety Representative for its PCI Dallas 114 operations based in Midlothian, TX. This individual will be responsible for the following duties:
- Promote safety, safe work practices, and behaviors to instill an injury‑free culture throughout all site and field personnel.
- Assist the branch/site with implementing and administering the company’s accident prevention plan, policies, and procedures, including safety resources such as training, expertise, and guidance.
- Represent PCI and participate in Safety Committee activities.
- Assist in identifying, correcting, and mitigating routine and non‑routine safety and health hazards.
- Ensure company and client safety reports and documentation are submitted timely and per client requirements and expectations.
- Counsel and coach workers to gain compliance with the accident prevention plans, policies, and procedures.
- Identify, evaluate, and mitigate potential safety health hazards.
- Conduct job site inspections and periodic audits to establish and evaluate compliance.
- Responsible for investigating and evaluating injuries and illnesses for the project site.
- Convey a professional and positive attitude as the safety representative of the plant site and corporation.
- Evaluate and approve safety equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE).
Hourly: $30‑$40 depending on experience.
This position is safety‑sensitive. Please note, this role is not eligible for employer visa sponsorship.
Minimum Requirements- Minimum 3‑5 years of construction experience.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Prolonged periods standing and working outside.
- Physically able to perform assigned tasks.
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds at a time.
- Local to the Dallas metro area.
- Bilingual Spanish
