About The Role

CBRE is searching for a hard-working, motivated construction professional to provide support over multiple project/program managers, while also leading some smaller projects yourself for a confidential large technology client. This position will also:

  • Provide contracts management support on behalf of Program Managers, including updating project budget and schedule.
  • Provide construction document administrative support, such as construction change order processing and invoice/payment processing.
  • Full time on site in Midlothian, TX.
What You’ll Do
  • Work with Owners’ program managers to create and maintain RFP/SOW/Change Order templates for various projects at multiple locations, and support the development of the client’s data center off‑ and on‑site infrastructure construction agreements as needed.
  • Develop an Owner‑furnished equipment delivery plan working with Program and Project Managers, suppliers and the client’s commodity management team, and track the proposals review, negotiations and contract execution.
  • Provide reporting of progress and drawdowns against SOWs that remain open for extended periods, coordinating closure of POs at project close‑out and tracking work orders and status versus approved SOWs; periodically review financial reports to ensure compliance with project budget targets and reconcile project charges against approved contracts.
  • Manage all site reporting requirements, including weekly, bi‑weekly and monthly reports for construction progress and safety; attend meetings and coordinate with project management personnel as needed.
  • Support provisioning for contractor personnel and work within Owner project management tracking tools for submission of budgets, COs and OCOs.
  • Coordinate with visitors and contract staff to ensure compliance with Owner tracking tools for site and room access.
  • Run construction‑related projects as assigned.
What You’ll Need
  • Bachelor’s degree considered a plus in business, finance, construction management or a related field; equivalent field experience acceptable.
  • 2–3 years of demonstrated experience in a construction project management environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work in teams and a matrix organization.
  • High level understanding of a project life cycle.
  • Experience in mission‑critical data centers is helpful.
  • Action‑oriented and excellent organizational skills with proven ability to multi‑task.
  • Good hands‑on skills with common office automation tools, such as Microsoft Office Suite, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides and Google Drive.
