Salary Range: $65,000.00 To $85,000.00 Annually

Position Overview

The Estimator is responsible forproducingaccurateand competitive cost estimates for commercial landscape construction projects. This includes quantity takeoffs, subcontractor/vendor pricing, and collaboration with project teams to ensure estimates are buildable and profitable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure and calculate quantities of materials, labor, and equipment needed for landscape construction projects.
  • Develop detailed cost breakdowns for materials, labor, equipment, subcontractors, and overhead to prepare competitive bids.
  • Compile andsubmitcomplete proposals, including scope clarifications, alternates, and value engineering recommendations.
  • Solicit, review, and confirm vendor and subcontractor pricing; ensure scopes areaccurateand comprehensive.
  • Support Preconstruction, Project Managers, and Operations to ensure estimates areaccurateand buildable throughout the project.
  • Respond to RFIs, attend pre-bid meetings, andmaintainprofessional communication as needed.
  • Enter, track, andmaintainestimates, bids, and project opportunities in Aspire, Bid Board, or CRM systems;maintain historical cost databases.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in the landscape/irrigation construction industry.
  • 2+ years of estimating experience for landscape and irrigation projects.
  • Proficiency with scaled drawings, architect/engineer scales, and irrigation design.
  • Strong mathematical skills in areas such as volume, area, and conversions.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, estimating software, and related technology.
  • Preferred:
    Field experience in landscape and irrigation in stallation.
