Construction Project Manager

Construction Project Manager | Commercial Construction | Midlothian, Texas

We are working with an established commercial general contractor in South Dallas to recruit a Construction Project Manager to their team. This role will encompass leading and overseeing construction projects from inception to completion while managing timelines, budgets, site coordination, and safety standards.

Core Duties

• Lead the planning, execution, and closing of construction projects within scope and budget
• Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to facilitate workflows
• Develop and manage detailed project schedules using tools like Primavera P6
• Review blueprints, schematics, and contracts to ensure accurate interpretation and compliance
• Manage procurement processes including construction estimating, bid evaluations, and contract negotiations
• Oversee site activities, maintain quality standards, and enforce safety protocols
• Utilize construction management software such as Pro Core and Bluebeam for document control and progress tracking
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and resolve operational issues promptly

Required Experience

• Proven background in construction site management for heavy civil or commercial projects
• Proficiency in construction management software such as Pro Core, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Civil 3D, or Heavy Bid
• Solid understanding of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction drawings
• Direct experience with contract administration and construction estimating processes
• Strong track record in project scheduling and managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Thorough knowledge of construction safety standards and site supervision best practices

Package

• Starting base salary of $110,000 - $140,000 per year
