Pay: $45–$50/hour
Tact Staff EDU is seeking a Texas-certified Teacher of Students with Visual Impairments (TVI) for a part-time, school-based contract position in the Midlothian, TX area. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced TVI looking for a small caseload and highly flexible schedule, with approximately 5 hours per week.

- Work with students with visual impairments in an educational setting
- W-2 contract position through Tact Staff EDU

- Provide specialized instruction and support to students with visual impairments
- Develop and implement individualized instructional strategies
- Support students with Braille, accessible instructional materials, assistive technology, and visual access
- Provide direct and consultative services based on student needs
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, families, and related service providers
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
- Conduct or support assessments related to students' visual needs, as appropriate
- Promote student independence and access to the school curriculum
- Valid Texas Teacher of Students with Visual Impairments (TVI) certification required
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
- Appropriate Texas classroom teaching certification/base certificate
- Must meet applicable Texas Education Agency requirements for the Teacher of Students with Visual Impairments Supplemental: EC–12 credential
- Experience working with students with visual impairments preferred
- Knowledge of Braille, assistive technology, and accessible instructional materials preferred.
