Requisition

Salary: $55,000 – $70,000 annually

Location:

Dallas / Midlothian, TX

A Water Treatment Chemical Technician will work at a customer’s data center, solving water treatment concerns, performing lab work, commissioning new piping and system assets, and troubleshooting equipment.

• Solve customers' water problems.
• Treat industrial cooling towers to keep them energy efficient and environmentally friendly.
• Perform detailed water testing & analyses at a data center.
• Promote Garratt-Callahan solutions including proprietary chemical blends, equipment, and monitoring technology.
• Commission newly installed assets and control equipment.
• Report directly to the Site Manager.
• Keep existing customers happy and safe.

• Technical degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Mechanical Engineering, Paper Science, Water Resources, or a related science field.
• 4+ year technical degree in the sciences.
• Experience or interest in advanced water treatment technologies.
• Detail-oriented, adherence to safety protocols, ability to lift 50 pounds wearing PPE in all weather.
• One year technical sales or related internship experience preferred; training available.
• Knowledge of industrial marketplace in Midlothian, TX.
• No sponsor work visas (applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S.).

• Familiarity with industrial cooling towers.
• Proficiency with lab procedures, water equipment, and water chemistry.
• Ability to provide virtual presentations.
• Experience working in a team setting.
