Role OverviewThe Electrical Engineer is responsible for all electrical maintenance activities at the plant. The role ensures electrical project work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with environmental requirements. The engineer plans, schedules, and executes all control system activities in the plant to maximize equipment utilization and reliability. As a New Graduate, you will also be part of the Amrize Build4
Growth Program, a 16‑month cement manufacturing learning and development program.
- Supervise electrical and instrumentation technicians in executing daily work orders and projects assigned by the maintenance coordinator; assign work, ensure timely and correct completion, and record history in SAP.
- Perform electrical preventive and predictive maintenance programs, including systematic inspections, quantitative data collection and analysis, and risk assessment to recommend corrective actions.
- Accurately document electrical schematics and manage spare parts inventory.
- Ensure all system programming meets environmental compliance.
- Maintain system documentation, including master equipment files, regulatory compliance files, equipment specifications, and repair history.
- Evaluate computer control equipment and components to assure they meet plant requirements.
- Define, write, and implement changes to existing process control programs.
- Provide control system training and guidance for plant personnel.
- Troubleshoot control system hardware and software problems.
- Participate in equipment and process modifications to improve reliability, reduce costs, and enhance safety; provide electrical knowledge for plant maintenance and PLC control projects.
- Bachelor's degree or 3 years of equivalent experience.
- Field of Study Preferred:
Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar field. - 0–3 years of experience.
- Computer and Software
Skills:
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). - Travel Requirements: 5%.

- Adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved PPE, including respirators; must be clean shaven where respirator seals contact the face for fit tests.
