What You’ll Do

As a Fidelis caregiver, you will provide one-on-one support based on each client’s individual care plan. Responsibilities may include:

• Providing companionship and meaningful social interaction
• Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal care
• Assisting with walking, transfers, positioning, and mobility
• Preparing meals and assisting with eating as needed
• Providing medication reminders
• Performing light housekeeping and laundry
• Assisting with toileting and incontinence care
• Running errands and providing transportation when authorized
• Accompanying clients to appointments and activities
• Supporting clients living with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia
• Observing and reporting changes in a client’s condition or needs
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and respectful environment
• Following the client’s care plan and Fidelis policies

What We’re Looking For

• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and the Fidelis team
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to perform the physical responsibilities associated with caregiving
• Ability to complete required employment and background screening

Preferred:

• 6+ months of caregiving experience in private duty home care, assisted living, skilled nursing, hospital, hospice, or a similar setting
• Experience caring for seniors or individuals with dementia
• CNA certification is welcomed but not required
