The Opportunity

We are seeking a Texas-licensed optometrist to provide clinic coverage for a defined four-week period this October at our flagship Midlothian office.

This is a physician-led practice. You will walk into a full schedule, a technician team that runs a tight pre-test and workup, and a front office that keeps the day moving. Great culture. No call. No administrative burden. No production quotas.

The day is predictable: general eye care, ocular surface disease, and stable post-ops. Opportunity for additional dry eye treatments.

The people here are the reason this posting is short. Our staff have been with us for years, they like each other, and they take care of visiting doctors.

Schedule
  • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
    - October 5, 6, 7 / 12, 13, 14 / 19, 20, 21 / 26, 27, 28
  • 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with a scheduled lunch break
  • Approximately 15-30 patients per day
  • Full technician support for pre-testing and workup

  • Professional liability coverage provided by the practice

  • Screening and triage for glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and cataract
  • Same-day chart closure in Nextech
