We are looking for a Plant Supervisor to join our team in Midlothian, TX. As a Plant Supervisor with Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials, you will oversee ready‑mix concrete plant operations, ensuring proper equipment, materials, and production to meet client needs. You will maintain safety for personnel and customers, coordinate daily production and deliveries with the Plant Manager, and provide timely reports.

May also handle scheduling to ensure efficient, on‑time distribution and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Lead safety efforts, including meetings and enforcing proper equipment use.
  • Ensure batching accuracy and monitor material quality.
  • Coordinate operations with the Area Operations Manager.
  • Supervise plant staff and support hiring and performance management.
  • Maintain accurate payroll/timekeeping records.
  • Monitor delivery timing and work with mixer operators for on‑time service.
  • Oversee equipment inspections and preventive maintenance.
  • Ensure plant operates at target capacity.
  • Maintain overall plant cleanliness and organization.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED;
    Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • 3 years’ experience with concrete and related products.
  • 1 year maintenance and supervisory experience preferred.
  • Possess a current driver’s license (preferably a CDL).
  • Current knowledge of D.O.T., O.S.H.A., EPA, and other agency regulations.
  • Self‑starter with desire to promote values and business principles.
  • Ability to direct, teach, motivate, and coach.
  • Ability to formulate and support decisions, prioritize work, communicate with multiple parties, and handle multiple tasks.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to facilitate positive working relationships with all levels of management and staff.
  • Bilingual is desired but not required.
