Test Lab Technician

General Labor Position – Midlothian, TX

Irby Tool & Safety is excited to offer an entry‑level opportunity in our Electrical Test Lab. As an associate, you will be trained to perform the following tasks:

• Safely operate equipment:
  Handle all necessary equipment for testing and preparing materials.
• Inspect and test electrical safety equipment:
  Inspect and test safety equipment used to protect utility workers and electricians.
• Inventory management and shipping:
  Monitor the status of materials in various phases of testing and ensure efficient inventory management.

• Basic computer operation skills.
• Ability to safely lift packages and objects sometimes exceeding 50 pounds.
• Physical ability to stand on your feet most of the day.
• Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision.
• Strong work ethic, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
