We are looking for a HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR UTILITY to join our Midlothian, TX plant. As a Heavy Equipment Operator Utility with Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials you will operate, lubricate, and help maintain heavy equipment.

Responsibilities:
- Operates and lubricates heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Helps maintain heavy equipment.
- Responsible for housekeeping in work areas.
- Spotting and unloading railcars.
- Inspects belts and feeders.
- Cleans spills using jackhammer, shovel, and broom.
- Perform pre-shift inspections on the equipment.
- Report any needed repairs to the supervisor.
- Must be able to maintain accurate records.
- Assist in plant clean-up.
- Perform other duties as requested by the supervisor.
We Require:
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read, write and verbally communicate in the English language.
- Must be able to read and write to complete required daily reports.
- Must have good communication skills one on one.
- Must have good communications skills using a two-way radio.
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to climb stairs and ladders.
- Must be able to remain seated in equipment for up to 12 hrs/day.
- Must be able to lift 40-100 lbs. (wheelbarrow loaded and unloaded).
- Must have good hand/eye coordination and vision to operate equipment safely.
- Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions.
- Must keep safety above all else.
