RN Manager – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Waxahachie, TX. Full-Time, Days shift.
The RN Manager is responsible for leadership and operational oversight of the ICU, ensuring exceptional patient care, strong staff engagement, and continued program development. This role partners closely with executive leadership, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to support clinical excellence and future growth.

Full‑Time - Shift: Days
- 18‑bed Mixed ICU
- 2:1 nurse‑to‑patient ratio
- Team size:
Approximately 45–50 employees - Diverse, high‑acuity patient population
- Expanding service lines including:
- Neuro ICU growth
- STEMI receiving capability
- Expanding pulmonary procedures and services
- Magnet®‑recognized hospital culture
- Growing facility with ongoing expansion
- Supportive leadership and strong daytime supervisory support
- Low turnover with an engaged, collaborative ICU team
- Significant opportunity for program development and leadership growth
- Key role in advancing trauma, neuro, cardiac, and pulmonary services
- Active RN license
- Strong critical care background
- Proven leadership experience in a critical care setting
- Ability to lead, mentor, and develop high‑performing teams
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
- Basic Life Support certification within 30 days
- Clinical experience in CV ICU, Neuro/Trauma ICU
- Experience with program development and management
- Background supporting expansion initiatives or service line growth
