Quality Assurance Lab Manager
Seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Lab Manager to oversee quality systems, lead lab operations, and ensure compliance in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities- Manage the Quality Management System (QMS)
- Approve procedures impacting product and material quality
- Partner with Regulatory Affairs
- Oversee MOC, OOS, Deviations, and CAPA programs
- Ensure lab safety, compliance, and efficiency
- Supervise a team of 6 lab professionals
- Maintain SOPs and documentation
- Lead customer audits and ensure timely responses
- Drive process improvements and workflow efficiency
- Collaborate with QC and Operations
- Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (CST)
- BS in Chemistry or related field
- Internal Auditor training
- Experience with ISO 9001 & cGMP
- Lean/Six Sigma preferred
- 7+ years in cGMP environment
- 3+ years in a leadership role
- Analytical chemistry lab experience
- Experience in biopharma, medical device, or chemical manufacturing
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Midlothian, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $145000.00/yr.
