We’re seeking part-time Sales Associates who are passionate about delivering outstanding customer service while driving sales. Key qualities include excellent people and sales skills, attention to detail in keeping merchandise organized, ensuring the floor is well-stocked, and providing seamless checkout experiences at the register.

• Greet and assist customers promptly:
  Approach and acknowledge customers immediately, provide assistance, and handle multiple customers efficiently.
• Understand and meet customer needs:
  Assess needs by sharing product knowledge, answering questions, directing them to merchandise, and offering recommendations. Engage in suggestive selling and stay informed on product availability.
• Promote store events and promotions:
  Inform customers about current events, promotions, and activities to enhance their shopping experience and drive sales.
• Resolve customer concerns:
  Address issues and use product knowledge to offer alternatives, aiming to turn returns into exchanges when possible.
• Communicate needs to management:
  Regularly inform management about restocking, service requirements, and customer feedback in a timely manner.
• Support team and company goals:
  Collaborate with the team to achieve store and company objectives, contributing to a positive work environment.

• At least 16 years old
• Available to work a flexible schedule
• Comfortable with or willing to learn technology (such as cash registers, handheld and mobile devices)
• Good communicator with the ability to engage with customers
• Able to handle customer interactions and potential issues courteously and professionally
• Use basic information-gathering skills to solve problems
• Ability to learn procedural knowledge acquired through on-the-job training

• Frequently operate cash register
• Frequently move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs and place/remove merchandise up to 5-10 feet high
• Frequently ascend/descend ladders to retrieve and put away stock
• Frequently position self to kneel, bend, twist, and stoop in stockroom and on the sales floor
• Frequently communicate with customers, managers, and coworkers in person or by telephone
• Frequently move across the sales floor to assist customers and retrieve/stock merchandise
• Work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including day, evening, weekends, and potentially overnight shifts and travel
• Identify and discern email and print instructions regarding merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and standard operating procedures
• Remain in a stationary, upright position for up to 80% of the time
