Service Tech - HVAC in Midlothian

Job Summary

The A/C & Heating Service Technician will perform and apply technical skills and knowledge associated with: maintaining and servicing heating/ventilation/air conditioning, and troubleshooting HVAC systems for residential customers.

• Performing on-site HVAC performance evaluations, routine repairs and calibrations.
• Troubleshooting common problems and providing appropriate level repairs.
• Using experience and technical skills with preventive maintenance and system operations to determine service requirements.
• Advising manager of preventive maintenance inspections performed and identifying the necessary corrective actions to be taken.
• Working in a team-based environment to share information and workload while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Working in a safe manner, ensuring all safety measures are taken, at all times.
• Performing other duties, as assigned.
• Flexibility to work overtime, on-call and weekends, as required.

• 2 to 6 years hands‑on HVAC Experience
• EPA Certification, required
• Valid Texas driver’s license AND acceptable driving record
• Ability to maneuver and climb ladders
• Moderate lifting (up to 75 pounds)
• Complete pre-employment drug test and background check processes
• Technical aptitude to perform maintenance, service, and troubleshoot equipment
• Excellent customer service skills
• Professional communication skills
• Solid electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills
• Ability to complete repairs and required paperwork
• Ability to work independent and self-schedule
• Self-motivated to complete assigned tasks within time constraints
• Valid TDLR card
• NATE certification a plus
