This position requires the ability to travel 75% of the time.

• Work as a team to safely achieve profitable job completion
• Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, backhoes, and graders
• Perform grading, digging, trenching, and material handling with precision
• Conduct pre‑ and post‑operation safety inspections of equipment
• Read and interpret site plans, blueprints, and grade stakes
• Maintain equipment through routine maintenance including lubrication and cleaning
• Identify and report mechanical or safety issues promptly
• Adapt to changing site conditions and resolve operational challenges
• Communicate effectively with crew members, supervisors, and signalers
• Promote a safe and positive work environment

• Work in all types of adverse weather
• Must have sufficient physical stamina to perform construction type work such as lifting and carrying approximately 90 pounds, bending, stooping, and climbing in and around construction equipment for 8‑12 hour shifts

• CDL (Commercial Driver’s License)
• Experience with GPS and grade control systems
• Experience in civil construction, pipe laying, or stormwater work

• Experience operating heavy machinery such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, backhoes, and graders
• Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and job site safety standards
• Ability to safely and efficiently operate equipment in various conditions
• Ability to perform equipment safety inspections before and after use
• Familiarity with equipment controls, maintenance procedures, and basic troubleshooting
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and grade stakes
• High attention to detail in grading, excavation, and material handling
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to problem‑solve and adapt to changing job site conditions
• Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to perform routine equipment maintenance and minor repairs
• Valid Driver’s License
