Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Mechanic to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, motors, and mechanical equipment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with electrical wiring, circuits, and motor controls while ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and components in machinery and equipment.

Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues, troubleshoot problems, and perform necessary repairs.

Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.

Assemble and test electrical components, circuits, and wiring for proper function.

Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure equipment operates efficiently.

Use hand tools, power tools, and testing devices like multimeters and oscilloscopes.

Comply with all safety regulations, electrical codes, and company policies.

Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and other team members to improve system performance.

Keep accurate maintenance records and document repairs and inspections.

Assist in training junior staff or apprentices when needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or certification preferred.

Proven experience as an Electrical Mechanic or similar role.

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and motor controls.

Ability to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and blueprints.

Proficiency in using hand and power tools for electrical work.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Understanding of workplace safety regulations and electrical codes.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, stand for long periods, and work in various environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

Journeyman or Master Electrician license (if applicable).Experience in industrial or commercial electrical work.

Familiarity with PLCs and automation systems.

Work Environment:

May require working in indoor and outdoor environments, sometimes in extreme conditions.

Exposure to electrical hazards, moving machinery, and loud noises.

May involve working at heights or in confined spaces.
