About Our NurseryBusy Bees at Midlothian Newbyres is a 154‑place nursery with two settings:
Newbyres Hall welcomes children under 3 and St Paul’s serves children 3‑5 years old. Located in the centre of Gorebridge village, the nursery is convenient for families and staff, with excellent transport links and a free car park.

Key Responsibilities- Assist in planning and delivering educational activities that promote children's development.
- Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
- Take on the role of Key Person, fostering partnerships with children and their families.
- Track and report on children's progress through observations and assessments.
- Level 2 qualification in early years education/childcare.
- Experience working with children under 5.
- Empathy and understanding – each child is unique.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
You may have previous experience as an Early Years Educator, Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Assistant or Nursery Nurse.
