Responsibilities will include;
Leading and coordinating ecological surveys, assessments and monitoring programmes.
Providing expert ecological advice throughout the planning and construction phases.
Supporting protected species licensing and mitigation requirements.
Reviewing ecological reports, technical information and survey findings.
Monitoring ecological works and ensuring agreed mitigation measures are implemented effectively.
Liaising with contractors, engineers, environmental consultants and other project stakeholders.
Identifying ecological risks and providing practical solutions.
Supporting environmental compliance and ensuring relevant legislation and planning requirements are met.
Mentoring and supporting junior ecologists and other members of the environmental team.
Contributing to the ongoing improvement of ecological and environmental practices across the project.
