Maternal - Fetal Medicine Physician

A hospital in Midlothian, VA, is seeking a dedicated Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialist for a locum tenens assignment in an advanced Maternal-Fetal Medicine practice. This opportunity involves both office and inpatient coverage, supporting high-risk pregnancy care. • Schedule: On Call, weekdays and weekends;

• Patient Population: High Risk Pregnancy
• Location: Midlothian, VA

• Provide comprehensive care for high-risk pregnancies
• Perform required procedures such as amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling
• Collaborate with a team including a nurse practitioner, RN clinic educator, sonographer, and genetic counselor
• Document patient information using EPIC and Viewpoint EMR systems

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Maternal-Fetal Medicine
• Completed Fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine
• Valid Virginia medical license and BLS certification
• AIUM certification preferred
• Submission to relevant job postings and a Self-Query NPDB report within 30 days

• On-call coverage required for weekdays and weekends

• Proficiency in maternal-fetal care procedures
• Experience managing complex high-risk pregnancies
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment
• Strong communication and documentation skills
